Chiara Altare is a reasearch fellow at CRED working on the human impact of conflict on health, with special focus on malnutrition in complex emergencies. She has a degree in Development Economics from the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, The Netherlands. Since 2007, she has been working in academic and consultancy organisations focusing on humanitarian assistance.
